Felt Folk, Hollow Skin Method-- 12 hrs.

4 Sessions/ 2 Days

This 2-day workshop might be shorter as soon as my workbook on the topic is published. If participants are willing to be shoved along, we could get the figures mostly done in a day...
We'll be making wool into felted body parts which are stuffed and assembled into myriad beings-- Toddler, Woman, Mermaid, Satyr, Troll, or a sofa-cushion size Venus of Woolendorf.

Instructor will discuss the design, construction and engineering of both barenaked and clothed bodies.

PARTICIPANT BRINGS:
*about 1/2 pound wool that felts well,
in any state from raw to carded
*a plastic bag from the produce dept.
*the favorite pair of scissors
*various dyed wool & yarn bits
